Reiner Grosche is a German knifemaker. He makes beautiful little folders. Damascus and Mammoth Ivory, most of them.
A group shot of my Reiner Grosche folders (minus two, those are on the next pic!):
Welcome
Welcome to my blog about knives. My biggest passion in life. Handmade custom knives. My favorite materials are damascus steel, and natural handle materials (stag, mammoth ivory & wood).

Viking Sword by Alex Salsi
Belgian knifemaker with Italian roots, Alessio "Alex" Salsi, made this fantastic Viking Sword. The multibar damascus for the blade was forged by Achim Wirtz. Other materials used: bog-oak for the handle, linden wood for the sheath, oak for the box. It came with a belt as well.
Pictures:
The sword is constructed the way it was done centuries ago. To make the wood carvings, Alex made his own tools. One of those was included with the sword. It has a boxwood handle, and a damascus blade.
This complete package is one of the TOP pieces in my collection, and the best work of Alex, so far. But I'm sure he has more up his sleeve!
